As teenagers the Schuit brothers, Brian and Geoff, started working on their uncle’s building sites under the supervision of their father. At an early age they learned first-hand about the responsibilities of owning, managing and working in the highly competitive, physically demanding, time sensitive, construction industry.
After learning from experience on the job that doing it right the first time was always the better way it wasn’t long before they were encouraged to start their own company. They began building complete homes including rough and finished carpentry, back framing and rough-in framing. As business grew they hired young but dedicated labourors and took the time and patience to train them just as they had learned from their uncle and father.
Eventually they added a second crew and began working on large scale projects as sub-trades.
The launch of Schuit Bros. Contracting positions Brian and Geoff well to handle any type of commercial office or specialized construction projects like restaurants, police and fire stations, churches and luxury homes in the Golden Horseshoe and Greater Toronto Area.
